To follow up with my comments above, I would go with OCL Polo or YHM Resonator for sub $1k.

Have you had issues? I have not had any with their products I own. My favorite rifle is the Fix and suppressor is the Full Nelson.

I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with their products in general - many people have them and many people like them. But I definitely think they are overpriced for what you are getting (for example, baffle design is quite basic), there are better options out there as their suppressors are pretty 'middle of the pack' performance wise, and Q as a company is someone I would avoid. There are other companies where the figurehead of the company does not publicly trash competitors and customers alike.

I felt like that toward Q...and the owner is arguably a tool. But what I will say is when the ATF got silly with pistol braces...he stepped up and offered to pay for the stamp for anyone who had purchased a pistol braced rifle from Q. That is when I changed my opinion of Kevin and Q. He didn't have to do that and in my mind was far and above what was required.

When that news came out...I went and ordered a Q Half Nelson, great can. Kevin was one of the first to design lightweight effective cans...but he was with another company, drawing a blank as to where that was (sig maybe??).

Anyway, just another perspective...not arguing as he does speak his mind but in my eyes that illustrated a standup businessman.

Heavily reworked 'Meserve' would be my best guess, but definitely a reworked point of some type.

Trades ? S&W M&P12 Bullpup Shotgun Megtwo 19 minutes ago
S&W M&P12 Bullpup Shotgun. I purchased this new. It has never been carried or fired. Includes everything that came with it new....case, lock, manual, choke tube and wrench. Prefer a local FTF trade. Looking for semi auto pistol, large bore revolver, or possibly rifle...(no shotguns), of equal value and condition.

I've decided a 5/8 direct thread mount and a 1/2 to 5/8 thread adapter on a 30 caliber suppressor will allow me to use the same suppressor on all my rifles I would want to shoot suppressed. I am looking for a not too heavy, sub $1000, good warranty suppressor for my needs. I had no idea there were as many suppressor manufacturers as I have run across while starting to research the topic. So far, the Banish 30 or the YMH Resonator seems to fit the bill but I am sure there are many others in the same category. So, ye who are in the know, what say you? Lowish cost, high decibel reduction, solid warranty, ease of mounting and maintenance, which can would you reccomend?

If you plan on an adaptor I wouldn’t use any of the over the bore reflex ones as the adapter can get stuck in the reflex.

As far as sub 1k, the trend is less weight so you can get the stainless ones pretty cheap now compared to titanium. AB A-10 in 5/8 and DD enticer -L are both sub $650. They are great bolt gun cans for the money, with that said titanium versions are still <1k

1 3/4 length, 1 1/16 width and nothing looks ground smooth. Sharp flaky edges.

Agreed. And we are finally getting our quail back after the drought. It's also a fire hazard when it overgrows the pasture roads. That's what I'll be spraying, the roads.

Likely headed and funded by the U.T. Austin.

But from that short video, nothing new established. Not sure the reason for all the hype.

All the points I’ve found around here are notched points except for one which is the first one I ever found. If I posted a pic of it can you tell from about what time frame it’s from? I tried looking it up before and couldn’t find a close enough example to tell for sure.

Psalm 35:7

How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

Lord, I praise you today with all of my heart and I thank you for your faithfulness. I am so grateful for your great power and love. I confess my need for you, and pray for your peace in this time. Help me to remember you never leave any of us, and thank you for your care over all of us. Please breathe renewal into my soul and fill me with your Spirit. Let me draw ever closer to you so that you may work your purposes through me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

I split time on the drive home last night (Goldthwaite to Lubbock) between 80s on 8 and 70s on 7 on Sirius XM. 70s on 7 was carrying the 2/25/1978 Am Top 40 countdown, heard Short People (maybe for the first time). There was some disco on both stations.

Re: What Material? Reloder28 1 hour ago
I built my blind using four individual framed panels of aluminum Unistrut. Each panel clamps together at the corners with the Unistrut hardware. Built this blind in 1998 when commercially available pop-up blinds had yet to appear on the market. I was hunting a property in the Hill Country that had numerous canyons that were inaccessible by ATV's. Each panel weighed < 50#. It worked well for its intended purpose.

When I was no longer on that lease, I put the blind into storage. The panels hoisted nicely stacked up to the ceiling in the garage. Eventually, I began hunting S.Texas and decided to skin each panel with 3/8" plywood. I wasn't necessarily in a hurry to get the panels hard covered, but I did not have the time available to have them skinned with aluminum sheet, saving that phase for a future upgrade. It is bolted to the 5X8 mower trailer I grabbed from Tractor Supply on their free finance plan. It tows very nicely behind my Pioneer 700. Though I do not move it around, it can be moved as often as one would like. Having a hinged tongue, I removed the tongue and carried it home.

The blind is 5' X 7' and 6.5' high.

Re: Debate on Ultrasonic Sound ntxtrapper 1 hour ago
Not looking for a debate or discussion because I know I'm not a physicist, but I just happen to remember this physics principle.

Same AI Overview for "ultrasonic sound vs regular sound"

"Compared to regular sound, ultrasonic sound can generally travel a shorter distance due to its higher frequency, meaning it dissipates faster and is more easily absorbed by the environment; however, in specific situations like underwater or when focused into a beam, ultrasonic waves can travel further distances due to their ability to penetrate certain mediums better than audible sound waves."
