Speaking of CD players. I was casually looking online at new F-150’s and realized there’s no more CD players in them. Bummer. My 15 had a 5 disk but my current 18 only has a single. '18 4Runner has a single. The darn Spotify through the phone cuts off after a few minutes on the first song of any vehicle and I have not been able to figure it out!

Spending quality time with Toast this weekend as he has an appointment to cross the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday. The rear leg bone broke last summer but it was too early to detect the bone cancer.

Heading to the golf course!
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect. Some people live an entire lifetime & wonder if they ever made a difference in the world, a veteran doesn't have that problem. Reagan

Toast looks too happy to be going upstairs. That's so sad! Hope the leg break wasn't from the Schnauzer attack in CO. He recovered well from that.

He was most likely in early onset of cancer.

Been on the tractor since Wednesday morning discing and dragging my last dove field, and it's a monster field. Got done just before lunch today and spending the remaining weekend relaxing. Sitting on a tractor might look easy, but it's not. No shock absorbers on my tractor, and it can be a beating. Especially with the hogs rooting up the field. Glad to be done

I did zip. I need to glue up some wood for a big bowl, but it just wasn’t in me today. I’ll do that tomorrow, and refill the wood rack.
I’m not a guy that can go a whole day and do nothing. I had to fight my work ethic today.

Doing a 200 mile snowmobile ride/tour heading out tomorrow at 8 am. Just me and the wife doing a scenic tour. -18 tonight. Supposed to warm up to few degrees below freezing tomorrow. No, no indeed, hell no. You people are tough. No doubt about it. Not as hard as you think. Harder if you are a passenger and not driving. Proper windshield breaks all the wind. Helmet has electric heat via wire from machine electrical system, Hand grips and thumb throttle lever are heated, Engine heat keeps your feet warm. Also the 200 miles is not bushwhacking like when i go off-grid ice fishing. We have 20,000+ miles of groomed public trails in Ontario alone. You can make good speed on groomed trails - way faster than anything you do on an ATV. Trails are mostly through bush but there are snowmobile ride in bars and restaurants as well on some of the trail networks. Pick of one of today's groomed trails: ![[Linked Image]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54288063138_c6a991cccd_k.jpg)

The weather was just dang near perfect, so I rounded up my passel of kids for a life and death session of Air Soft. I won, obviously, which means I am currently searching for survivors. Love it.

Spent some time assembling the smoke house getting ready for making deer sausage when time/weather permits. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/01/full-55403-443479-smoke_house.jpg)
