Spending quality time with Toast this weekend as he has an appointment to cross the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday. The rear leg bone broke last summer but it was too early to detect the bone cancer.

Toast looks too happy to be going upstairs. That's so sad! Hope the leg break wasn't from the Schnauzer attack in CO. He recovered well from that.

The attack leg break was what I was referring to. He was most likely in early onset of cancer.

Been on the tractor since Wednesday morning discing and dragging my last dove field, and it's a monster field. Got done just before lunch today and spending the remaining weekend relaxing. Sitting on a tractor might look easy, but it's not. No shock absorbers on my tractor, and it can be a beating. Especially with the hogs rooting up the field. Glad to be done

I did zip. I need to glue up some wood for a big bowl, but it just wasn’t in me today. I’ll do that tomorrow, and refill the wood rack.

I’m not a guy that can go a whole day and do nothing. I had to fight my work ethic today.

No, no indeed, hell no. You people are tough. No doubt about it.

Not as hard as you think. Harder if you are a passenger and not driving. Proper windshield breaks all the wind. Helmet has electric heat via wire from machine electrical system, Hand grips and thumb throttle lever are heated, Engine heat keeps your feet warm. Also the 200 miles is not bushwhacking like when i go off-grid ice fishing. We have 20,000+ miles of groomed public trails in Ontario alone. You can make good speed on groomed trails - way faster than anything you do on an ATV. Trails are mostly through bush but there are snowmobile ride in bars and restaurants as well on some of the trail networks. Pick of one of today's groomed trails:

Well that is just horrible. He’s been through a lot recently.
