Made a pot of 7 Steak Stew last night that I’m about to hit again. Getting up early and making a solo trip to the lease to skin & quarter a couple does I have hanging in the walk in cooler, fill feeders, fix some stuff etc. Brainstorming about my new crawfish cooking team, and my offshore boat. Tackle/rigging/gear etc etc….what I’m doing lol.

Wife and kids went to Austin for a taekwondo tournament (I'm stuck working) so I'm grilling myself a couple ribeyes and having a drink.

Been at the lease since yesterday afternoon. Filled all the feeders, changed batteries on all the cameras. and set 8 raccoon traps around the main protein feeder. Had 2 big ones in the traps this morning, one with 2 hands caught in the cookie jars. Also dismantled an old wooden picnic table the cows ruined when they busted in the camp fence. Low 20’s this morning.

Darn near….the pup, an Asylum cigar, Old Forester King Ranch, and Blackberry Smoke playin’…..good to be in the Great State!

Dang. That’s a beautiful dog.

Went to an auto place to see what was going ‘clunk’ under the car. Cost me a bunch and it still goes clunk. Then I worked on the RV and learned how Sharkbite stuff works. I’ve had better Fridays. At least it wasn’t boring….but wait…it was boring.

It's still cold for me, so I'm sitting in my truck with the seat warmers on listening to music here in the driveway enjoying my pipe with some fresh captain black. Very beautiful evening.

Looking good ole Stub

The weather was just dang near perfect, so I rounded up my passel of kids for a life and death session of Air Soft. I won, obviously, which means I am currently searching for survivors.

I decided to get out and go harass the Rainbow Trout on the Guadalupe. Really nice day out.

Looks nice Stub. I can sit around a fire like that for a while. Nothing super fun on my side… behind the wheel most of the day.

Doing a 200 mile snowmobile ride/tour heading out tomorrow at 8 am. Just me and the wife doing a scenic tour. -18 tonight. Supposed to warm up to few degrees below freezing tomorrow.

Headed out for last weekend of duck hunting season, then I'm all in on snow skiing thru March.

Bad picture, but a spectacular day for soaring. Conditions were way better than forecasted, especially for this time of year. I took a 2000 tow and topped out at ~5500 ft.

Speaking of CD players. I was casually looking online at new F-150’s and realized there’s no more CD players in them. Bummer. My 15 had a 5 disk but my current 18 only has a single.
