Hey Guy,
Can you add "Half Ton Dodge" to you poll? I setup a squirrel and crow hunt with my father-in-law for his birthday yesterday down in Grandview. Corn as far as the eye can see. Cruising down a gravel country road a dove busted out right in front of the truck. Thud. I've hit other kinds of birds before, but never have seen a dove hit.
I hit a dove with my car back in high school. It was in season so I stopped and picked it up.

We happened to be camo'd out with a bird dog, shotguns, and dove load (for squirrels and crows). Imagine trying to explain a breasted out dove in the cooler to the warden in early May.
"I swear he hit it with the truck and we didn't want it to go to waste!"
"Step out the truck son and place you hands behind your back..."

I have never been duck hunting. Is it better than going dove hunting. I don't know of any where to go around here but I am starting to get interested.

I have been dove hunting since I was 8 and thought thats all huntings was. Until my buddies introduced me to duck hunting about 4 or 5 years ago. The first time we went we didnt even see a duck, but I was hooked right then. The experience is incredible. And to see a duck cup its wings just as the sun is coming up over the water and its cold as sh$$. Theres no other place I'd rather be than in the field slaughterin some ducks

How do you like that Stoeger Condor udamdan? Buddy of mine had one in a 12ga and I thought it was a decent O/U for the price...no browning but decent.

Nice! Do you roll your own or do you buy factory loads? If I ever got a 28ga and was going to shoot it regularly I'd probably go ahead and invest in a reloader.
