Randy's Steakhouse in Frisco! He used to be head chef at Del Frisco's and then opened up his own place!! Great service!!! Main street in Frisco

So if I am in Abilene, should I go to Beehive or Perini's. It looks like PErini's is alot closer. I have been to Lytle's several times already and Joe Allen's.

Went to Perini's Saturday eve and it was good but I don't feel like it was worth the drive. Will have to try Bee Hive next time. I hear it is about 45 miles from Abilene though.

If I'm out in El Paso, I like Cattleman's Steakhouse at Indian Cliffs Ranch in Fabens. "The Cowboy" 2lb T-bone <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cup.gif" alt="" />. +1! That is only thing I like about El Paso and it actually ain't in El Paso luckily! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Cattleman's does have the best steak. The sides aren't that great, but who needs sides with an awesome cut of beef.

Cagle Steakhouse in Lubbock Just ate there when I dropped my youngest off at Tech about 4 weeks ago. It was really good.

Bob's is good....but i damn near feel out of place. Anywhere any nicer than that im like a lost dog. I went to that al bernat's place in dallas/highland park once. Im glad we were in a Tahoe. Theres no way my 6spd 4 door cummins 4x4 would fit in the valet line...or the parking lot for that matter. and FYI....boots and jeans is frowned upon. You dallas folk can keep that stuff. If i have to go to the metromess, i'll stay in ft worth.

I grew up in Albany so I might show a litte favoritism, but the General Merchandise/Beehive is amazing. I have taken alot of people to eat there over the years and they all say its the best steak ever. The good part is you can get a steak for 20 bucks that would cost you 60 at a big name steak house. Try it and you will agree.

5D cattle company Avinger is always good.Down south I go to Sutton County steak house.2 best that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Is it still their? I still tell people that if they are in San Angelo they need to go to Western Skies.

Cagle's Steaks in Lubbock is THE best in Texas. I have had steaks from houston to dallas to austin to el paso, and these are the BEST!

My steaks grilled at home are the second best I've had. Second only behind my steaks grilled out at the ranch.
BUT, this thread is about restaurants. For my budget I like TX Land & Cattle. My wife got $250 Perry's gift cards for Christmas from her company, so we're pretty pumped about getting to go back there.
