Del Frisco's, no question about it. That's a once or twice a year trip for us. Foy's in Graham is my old standby for sure.

If I'm out in El Paso, I like Cattleman's Steakhouse at Indian Cliffs Ranch in Fabens. "The Cowboy" 2lb T-bone  .

Dallas has some of the best steakhouses in the country. Al Biernat's, Pappas Brothers, Nick & Sam's, Bob's Steak & Chop House and Silver Fox are all superb.

The restaurant over at the auction barn in Gonzales serves a pretty damn good 16 oz steak for a little over $20.

Best by far is Bob's Chop House...easily better than Del Friscos. One in Dallas, Plano, and Grapevine. Soon to be in Ft. Worthless as well.

it is hard to beat your own rib-eye steak seasoned with salt,pepper,and garlic,cooked over hot mesquite coals to medium-rare along with a loaded baked potato,good salad,and family and friends to share the meal with.....but have heard good reviews from lowake recently
