Good job! I've trapped over 80 of them corn bandits on 40 acers.  All the buzzards around my place are fat.

Good job! I've trapped over 80 of them corn bandits on 40 acers.  All the buzzards around my place are fat.  Nest destroyers get kept in check here.

I stopped putting traps close together because that happened. I used to think if one koon saw another trapped it would deter them from going to another trap close by. It might actually make them want what's in the other traps more.

It might actually make them want what's in the other traps more. In 2022 when it got so dry, they started tearing up sacks of cow feed at my main barn. Can't just open one sack, no, they had to tear 7-8 open at a time. We put out 9 traps one night, and the next morning all 9 were occupied. We reset them and got the two more the next day. Granted, these were two mamas and their babies, but I got the feeling they aren't very smart about some things. I usually set four around my deer feeders and have caught multiples several times.
