I was called heartless by an old, closet liberal, old man on here for posting a similar pic.

I stopped putting traps close together because that happened. I used to think if one koon saw another trapped it would deter them from going to another trap close by. It might actually make them want what's in the other traps more.

😂 I remember

He will never do it again so I hope he thought it was worth it.

I've had several with both hands in the same cookie jar.

If you find yourself feeling useless, remember it took 20 years, trillions of dollars, and four presidents to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.

Sometimes the Universe puts you in the same situation again to see if you’re still a dumbass.

In 2022 when it got so dry, they started tearing up sacks of cow feed at my main barn. Can't just open one sack, no, they had to tear 7-8 open at a time. We put out 9 traps one night, and the next morning all 9 were occupied. We reset them and got the two more the next day. Granted, these were two mamas and their babies, but I got the feeling they aren't very smart about some things. I usually set four around my deer feeders and have caught multiples several times.

Got a friend that has been feeding the coons for years. Asked why we have so many turkeys told him because we try and control the racoon population.
