How big are the axis bucks? Looking more for a meat hunt but would like antlers too. Any minimum # of hunters?

Haven’t booked any hunt yet so weekends are open. Probably looking at April through June as most axis are in velvet now.

We have several axis in velvet at this time but I would estimate a good number of bucks would go 28 to 35 inches. Not wanting to book just meat hunts at this time. We can accommodate up to 4 hunters at a time.

Now is the time to start booking. Axis bucks are looking very good and we should have several hard horned shooters by end of April.

Are crossbow OK?

Yes crossbow is acceptable

20 axis in front of ranch house, 15 were bucks, mostly in velvet. The time to book is now.

I can vouch for this! Taken yesterday!! Excellent facilities super nice guides. And they definitely have the game. In the last 18 hours have seen 30+ axis, 12-15 mature bucks both velvet and hard horned. No less than 4 mature black bucks and several other species of native and exotic game animals. Hunt update: missed a black buck at 35 yards in yesterday’s evening sit- Miss judged the sistance-also saw another 10-12 axis in the same sit

This morning so far 6 axis-3 bucks and three does. Never got closer than 70 yards this morning
