Be mindful of axle ratios, If you're planning on towing anything get a truck with 3.42 or 3.73. I'm in the process of regearing now that I'm needing to tow more frequently. Some idiot engineer thought a full size truck needed a 3.08 final drive for fuel efficiency. I still only get 12 mpg

Some idiot engineer thought a full size truck needed a 3.08 final drive for fuel efficiency. I still only get 12 mpg if your towing heavy for sure. We had a suburban with a 3.08 rear end and it would pull our aluminum bay boat pretty good. But any thing heavier it didn't like if any hills were involved whatsoever

You're in the market for a new, 2025 1/2 Ton, 4x4 pickup for mostly in city rolling around but also your weekend recreations to/from deer hunting lease or ranch. Your needs are basic in terms of hauling and or towing, nothing hardcore by any means, bags of corn, minor equipment, possibly towing an ATV. With those items in mind, what brand/model, trimine pickup do you get, factoring utility and overall value? Let's hear THF on this one.... 2025 RAM RHO.

I was partially wrong on the Raptor The "R" model is definitely worth a look. I would try a Ram but the twistie knob shifter is also meh.

Or tries to hype a Dodge We'll add that to his list of terrible decisions as well. Raptors are so Meh these days
Now the RHO?? Oh yea!! Our gay neighbor drives one....... his partner drives a Mustang gt.... Cool story Nancy. What you should really be worried about is your gay neighbor driving a much better vehicle than you do. Maybe you should ask him for some pointers on life.

Finding a 1/2 ton with a standard (6.5') bed is usually the issue for me.

What happened to a standard bed being 8’ long? 1971 came and went is what happened Now, no need to get ugly young man. An 8' bed and a regular cab is still the best looking pickup out there.

The real question is, how does he know my gay neighbor has a raptor? I never said he did.... It was obvious what you were trying to say. Also never said my truck is my identity, just said your gay neighbor has better taste than you for driving a Raptor. Sorry reading comprehension is hard for you.

What happened to a standard bed being 8’ long? 1971 came and went is what happened Is that the year they changed the dimensions of a piece of plywood? It's all about weight and MPG. Heck 10 years from now the beds may be 3' long.
