Has anyone hunted the WT Waggoner Ranch. I see some monster deer on the property but I don't believe they sell hunts.

A member on here knows a lot about it but I’m not sure if he will comment. Others will know as well so I’ll wait for them.

Thanks, just asking because my ranch buts up to the Waggoner and we have consistently killed trophy deer year after year.

They didn’t use to, but since it sold, a few do get sold Had an opportunity to do a managment hunt there in November, but I passed as it was too close to another hunt I had booked.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Just dropped my deer off at my taxidermist and he got invited to go hunt there a few weeks ago. He ended up taking a nice buck over 160"

I’m sure some will disagree and there are certainly exceptions; but as I have said before, MONEY usually gets you a trophy buck; or what each person calls their trophy buck. I know guys that a pitiful hunters, their lease (which is unbelievable in price) borders the Waggoner, they wound deer every year with their $10,000 guns at 100 yards and they kill monsters every year. If you got the $$$, and the connections, and it’s your cup of tea, go for it… you will get one to your liking.
