It is awesome and you need to see go by at speed. Standing at a crossing as it rumbles by is more than impressive.

Wow, talk about some tonnage. That thing is huge.

My BIL took my nephew to see it in Houston and they weren't letting anyone board and it was a madhouse. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/10/full-38597-433237-fb_img_1728510253055.jpg)
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

My BIL took my nephew to see it in Houston and they weren't letting anyone board and it was a madhouse. Thanks for the heads up! There’s a whistle stop in Navasota, they may work out better. And a shorter trip for the grandsons. Looking forward to seeing it moving.

My oldest wants to engineer it when she’s old enough, told Ed to watch himself cause she wants his job. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2024/10/full-34454-433331-img_0267.jpeg)

Got a video of her as she came into Ft. worth a couple of years ago. I was about 4-5 feet away. Close enough to get steamed and feel the great rumble as she moved by. What a wonderful piece of American engineering! I just wish she was still coal fired, as a Blacksmith, the smell would exquisite.
