This is ya'lls fault. "Your" next rifle is a TIKKA TX3, .223. I've been looking for a rifle with just the right features and I found this one. Its a TIKKA exclusive.

1-8 Twist
Large bolt Knob
Threaded for suppressor.
looks good (to me anyway) I didn't want "black"
NOT heavy 6.5#

Fiest thing I will need a trigger. The factory is nice but it's at 2.5#. SO, rather than try and adjust it I will replace it. What triggers are you precision TIKA guys using! I can only find the Timney 2 stage which looks pretty good. The Bix N Andy is $555 uh, no.

rofl Someone is eating a big donkey plate of crow...

Get an Ernie Spring kit and you don't need a new trigger. That's one of the reasons why the cult is so strong.

You're buying Tikka's and I bought another Zermatt action this morning...we both needed these like we needed another hole in our heads. rofl

I'd adjust it first since it takes about 2 minutes. You might like it. And what model is that? I like that a lot.

Buzz,

that is not a benchrest rifle, 2.5# is a good weight for a field gun.

Go shoot that thing and wear it out.

Congratulations, nice looking rifle. up

This is the Lite model correct?

I was looking hard at a 300wsm model but wish they were made with 1 in 10 barrels.

Adjust the trigger and if it’s not enough get the spring. I shoot a TT Diamond and wouldn’t put one in a Tikka.

I don't know anyone that owns a Tikka that has replaced, or modified the trigger in any way. It's at 2.5, and you have not adjusted it? I've got three, and all are adjusted to the lightest setting. They hunt well.

T3X , not the Lite. Barrel contour is a little heavier.

Tungsten Cerakote, proprietary stock color. I wanted the Veil colors, but neither are offered in a .223.

I saw the trigger spring, Mountain Tactical.

I've got the exact same rifle in 6.5 PRC. Need to get it to the range but been busy with roofs all summer.

I tend to agree with the above don’t replace the triggers just get a new spring and it will go lighter than you probably want.

Naw, this was a mag bolt face with a wyatts cut...I've been having some feeding issues with putting 2 in the bdl of my 6.5 saum so I will likely swap the actions out and it should fix that issue. Then I can use the current SR3 for about anything 308 bolt face. I sold my 22 Gaymoor barrel so I need to spin up (I know you love that term LOL!) another. I have a proof lightweight stock...trying to decide if I use a Zermatt or I save 10 oz and go to an Anti. If I use the Anti I'll have to rebed the stock but I think I can get under 8lbs including scope and suppressor. The easy button is a Zermatt and keep the current bedding.

You want their rail. It has a boss that fits into the front hole. I got it for my 7mm Rem. Mag., Tikka Roughtech.

As one of the earliest cult followers, I'd like to say "welcome, took you long enough." hahaha. Our 223 varmint is one of our favorite rifles. truly 0.5-.075moa under handloads.

Agreed that one of the best features to tikkas are the triggers. I have 3 variations of tikkas and one has a spring. I can't even say that I feel it's necessary, especially for our plain deer rifle.

All of mine (3X) shoot that well or better with factory Hornady ammo.

My tikka T3 is a 30-06, with an old school Redfield fixed power 4x attached. This thing is nothing, but a tack driver at the range last week.

My oldest Tikka, had it 7 years. Shot this group at the lease last year. That's three shots, first one from 100, second shot from 200 after dialing CDS to 200 in the same hole (top). Went back to the 200 yard line and missed, a little low.
It's not a cult, more like a not so secret, secret society. If you want in, you have to lay in a coffin with your rifle surrounded by current members and speak of every missed shot on game you ever had prior to owning a Tikka.

#1 Congratulations
#2 You need to scope it with a Vortex
#3 You suck if you can’t shoot it with 2.5 lb trigger. Tikkas have great triggers.
