Denton to Haslet…

Roads are slick but could be much worse, 4WD helps a bunch.

Looks slick from the front window. I have no reason to get out, so I won't.

Guy posting on local board says he’s been stuck on I 20 for nine hours. Exits are full of flipped or wrecked trucks. 1” of ice.

Says he’s covered 24 miles in nine hours.

My wife enjoys the building panic on the news down here. I can only watch so much. At least Grammy & Grampy's Daycare isn't open today. nuts I should probably go get some Ethanol-free gas for the generator, but I like living "on the edge."

He doesn’t give his exact location. I assume somewhere in southern Dallas or Tarrant county.
My driveway has at least a 1/2” on it.

Been on the roads since 6am. They have accumulated sleet and some bridges have ice but it is drivable. I am in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow area.

Stalling a little before I leave Okla for E Tx. Hoping some traffic on the roads will break it up some. Trying to decide rather to go Marietta on 35 to DFW then East on 20 or go around through Sherman, Greenville, Mineola etc.....? Im hooked to an 18' trailer loaded down but Im unhooking, it can wait.

I really dislike neighborhoods with residents who park in the street. If you want to buy in a neighborhood drive down the street on Sunday, says a lot.

35 from Marietta to Gainesville wasn’t too bad. Parking lot at Gainesville Whataburger is insanely slick.
