From the reports I’ve heard, Rodney King is a tame beating compared to what happened in Memphis.

I’m curious to see how the woke crowd is going to respond, although they may have a legitimate reason this time.

The guy needed transport by ambulance, from what I’ve heard, the cops wouldn’t let the paramedics transport and tossed him in the back of the car and drove him around for a while.

I saw they have them on kidnapping charges, so that comes from driving him around?

what exactly did the guy do to make the cops want to beat him?

Police pulled Nichols over on 7 January for alleged reckless driving, his family's attorneys said on Monday. The police department initially claimed that a “confrontation” unfolded when officers approached the vehicle, adding that he ran away, then when they arrested him there was another “confrontation”.

I would think the video will show what and why.

Yes, have been; all terminated, all charged with 2nd degree murder, aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping and official misconduct...

Not that it excuses what those police officers did, wonder what the story is on Tyre Nichols, is he a just a regular citizen that made a mistake or a career criminal?

From what I can find he was just a normal working stiff with no criminal history.

I lived in Memphis as a kid and my dad was a police officer. Before there he was an officer in Detroit. Memphis is so bad that working there drove him out of law enforcement. Outside of the majority white neighborhoods the city is a [censored].
