I use Marine Grade Stabil. Cost more but treats more fuel per ounce. Does a better job.

It seems to offset the ethanol in regular pump gas.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Been using seafoam for years in gas. Also cleans the carb/engine.

The bigger open frame is noisy as hell, but it is getting close to 1000 hours..

Two weeks ago a buddies Champion would not start. He purchased it May of this year.

It took a few hits of starting fluid to get it going.

YMMV...but I use fresh fuel and run them dry when I get finished.

We all need to practice Whoa more.

The fuel is the biggest issue. Mine hates ethanol.

The eu2000 have an easy carb drain. Takes two seconds I would assume the 2800 have same thing

Probably does. I turn off the fuel valve and let it run itself out.

Ya the EU2000 the on/off cuts the engine before it uses everything thing in carb.

By far the best bang for the buck, we ran 2 8k dual fuel 24-7 for 10 days during the big freeze. Never a hickup and still work well
Hondas are quiet but way overpriced

I'll 2nd Champion. I've got a little 2k watt inverter, and it's quiet as a mouse, sips the gas, and the only issue ive had was when I didn't change the spark plug out when it needed to be. I shut it off by turning off the fuel every time.

Iwas using regular Stabil for fuel stabilizer and Seafoam for spring start ups.

I haven't used Seafoam since I switched to Marine Grade Stabil fuel fuel treatment. But I have a friend that swears by Seafoam too.

Mine has been surging after I turn the choke off. think I need to drain the gas and refill with fresh gas with seafoam to clean it out.

If you can get it, aviation fuel is the best. It don't go bad. Run the motor dry, add a pint, and forget it.

Can’t go wrong with a Honda inverter.

I did see a lot of champion at cabelas yesterday. Champion invertor would be my second choice.

You might be surprised how much fuel drains from the float bowl after the engine has quit. And it's that small amount of fuel left in the bottom of the bowl for just a month or two that can create havoc.

Look at the generac inverter line as well. I wanted one big enough to run a rv ac and the little 3500io was the one I went with. You get quite a bit more generator for your $ than a honda and I'd put it against a honda any day now that I've had it for a few years.

What are you wanting to use it for?

How much power capacity do you want?

Portability?

You may end up needing to disassemble and and clean or replace a jet. It’s not that big of a deal usually. Those jets can be a pain to clean sometimes and easier to replace depending on the price.
