When comedy was real!!!! Most of the great are gone, thankfully some of there performances were recorded and still out there if you look for them. Comedy today is no where close to back then, and most was clean comedy!!!! You are right about comedy being funnier back then. Bob Newhart was a funny one, a lot of times he had a dry or subtle sense of humor that played out so well. I was fortunate enough to see Don Rickles in Vegas in the late 70's, talking about funny!!
