Grandma will be 100 years old in two weeks. She was at my house on Thanksgiving day. She needed lots of help to get around. The last ten years really weakened her. Talking to myself and my cousin, she asked a question and we answered her. She said "I have lived too long!"

When comedy was real!!!! Most of the great are gone, thankfully some of there performances were recorded and still out there if you look for them. Comedy today is no where close to back then, and most was clean comedy!!!!

Looks like he did a guest role on the walking dead. His second show had the greatest last episode ever where he woke up next to his wife from his 1st show and said he had the craziest dream.

Those roasts were great! Most of the pansies today can't take a joke without getting offended. Rickles was the king of insults!

Oh yeah, the celebrities of today and their wittle fans would have meltdowns after Rickles got through with them. Those roasts were packed with talent that young people today couldn't even comprehend.

Saw a 106 year old lady on our local news and she said the same thing. She was sitting in a wheel chair in a nursing home, her mind and speaking was still sharp as a tack though.

If my body will allow me to get out and do, and my mind is still sharp enough to know what I'm doing, then I want to live that long or longer. Who wouldn't want to see their grandkids grow up, and maybe even their great grandkids grow up?

I still enjoy watching both his tv shows every afternoon. They come on at 3:00 for his role as a psychiatrist, and 3:30 as the innkeeper.

Dick Van Dyke whom will be 97 on Dec. 13th has held up much better. Guess that spoonful of sugar really has made the medicine go down easier, "Mary Poppinns ref."

He is exactly ten years younger then my mother, who is also still alive.

We used to watch the Bob Newhart show every evening. He was funny.

Yeah age changes us and often not for the better, but life is still worth living as long as I can enjoy the people around me and spend time outdoors.
