Looks great! I've still never killed or eaten a goose.

Sure want to though.

How was the goose cooked? Never seen goose shredded like that and was always of opinion it should be cooked med rare at most. Was it moist and tender? Looks tasty but would have never guessed goose.

I cooked a couple goose breast in a roasting pan with some liquid in the bottom. Came out great! Was like roast beef, or a giant dove.

It was delicious. I ate way too much.

It was cooked in beef broth in the crockpot on high for 10 hours. Then shredded and the broth was discarded. Then I made brown gravy and mixed It with the shredded goose and put It back in the crockpot on low for an hour. It was moist, and so freaking good.

Breat them out, coat with olive oil, cover with Montreal seasoning, place in plastic bag, let sit on counter to get room temp, place on grill till medium rare. It taste like a sirloin steak.

Stub, try some Greek peperoncini from a company named "Jeff's Garden". The company is owned by Mezzetta, but they're not as tough skinned and more flavorful. I found them at Walmart once, but can now only find them at Whole Foods. HEB probably carries them.
