my favorite has absolutely, without a doubt been Accuracy International. I am a dyed in the wool Remington 700 guy, but a buddy of mine has an AI in .308, and it is not only brutally accurate (My buddy's rifle is 3/8 MOA or better hot or cold), but very durable. One of the founders of the company was Malcolm Cooper, an Olympic Gold Medalist Shooter. When the rifles first came out he would fire a two shot group at 100 meters, then grab the rifle by the barrel and slam the stock on the shooting bench. He would then fire the rifle and put the third shot into the same hole as the first two.

Just saw a M77 tang safety 30-06 in the used guns at Cabelas in Allen $649 If they told me I could only own one M-77 it would be in 30-06.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

No: Best action I’m so confused. I'm sorry There are THREE categories 1. Your Favorite "Factory" rifle action, in your case the Ruger tang safety 2, Your favorite "custom" action, re; Defiance, Bighorn, Curtis, etc. 3. The Best action, could never be decided on, especially HERE.

My favorite action right now is the Zermatt Bighorn TL3.
But the best actions typically have BAT Machine stamped on the side…with Kelbly or Borden a close 2nd. These three companies invest quite a bit in R&D and are or have focused a lot on timing and ignition.
Of course, that’s opinion not fact.

Of course, that’s opinion not fact. Terminus Zeus is a good one but nothing compares to an original nesika, bat, stolle.. I agree with Judd bighorn tl3 is probably just about the slickest one especially for a repeater. I had a cooper m21 back when, by far my favorite factory rifle.

Sako 85 in .260 Rem is my all-time favorite rifle. I love my Tikka, but the Sako is, for me, as close to perfect as I have owned.
God is so good to me.

I am not lying when I say I could change between those two barrels with my bare hands, and not have to change the 100 yard zero on the optic. I did it dozens of times.
