There was club on Northwest Highway in the European Village age

Amezia and a club next door Anacoda Club they both sold Extasy at the bar, You order a hit and they put a napkin on the table and put the pill on it.

Back then X was legal you would get flyers on your car in the parking lots of those clubs with guys who would deliver it to you, and their beeper numbers. Good times back then

Dallas was pretty cool place back then

With all the Texxas Jams each summer at the Cotton Bowl.

One year Q102 had a summer weekend party in the late 80's at Dallas City Hall, they covered the concrete in white sand and people were swimming in the fountains and beer was cheap and nobody worried about DWI's , I don't think they had those back then.

Dallas City Limits was a Rock N Roll bar off Northwest Highway, it now a topless bar called "The Lodge"

Every Thursday they had mug night. You buy a mug one time for $5 and then every Thursday that had nickle beer night, it was always packed

Yep, We lived in Irving back when it was nice, Shakeys was the place to go for pizza back then.

Also in high school you could drive across the river to Dallas and buy beer at certain places if you had cash

I lived near there on Dunhaven drive in a really expensive house. I paid $15,000. No sweat. It was a 30 plan. Monthly payment of $128. I was never strapped.

Ritz Rock N Roll Club off Northwest Highway, Upstairs they had the pool tables. Big hangout in the 80's. Lots of rock and roll bands played there and entrance fee was always cheap.

there was some nice people up there. I was the rube who went to the Stark CLub dressed with cowboy cut wranglers, wing toed boots and my name on my belt. Had no idea there would be womens in what I thought was the mens room. Found out when a gal came up to me as I was holding a part of me in my hand and she asked, "What you got there big boy?" Of course, she could tell and I guess was just trying to spark an innocent conversation.

Mother blues in mid 70s. Beggars, Bachelors and Bellringer clubs at European crossroads. Texas jam. Mid 80s, 'Cafe Dallas'. Papagayo, Stark club, Sans souci swingers club in late 80s.....As the 'lays' dwindle down to a precious few, a man still has his memories. Mostly.

Drinking age was 18 back then.

Back when we rode in the bed of the truck and everyone had an open container between their legs inside of it.
