Got this buck Saturday morning. Saw him trailing does across a ridge about 600 yards away Friday right at dark. Figured he went to bed down in an oak thicket nearby. Good un Congratulations was up at the farm a few days ago and seems like the older bucks were up and running Saturday afternoon I went to another pasture with my hunting buddy to try and get on a buck we have been seeing on camera pretty steady. We sat on a hill and watched a decent 3 year old buck chase does back and for almost 2 hours. We could see in the binoculars that he was panting hard, but he never stopped running.

Wow. How do you plan to spend the remainder of the season? Process this deer and the doe I already shot. Ant try to get my buddy on another big buck we have on camera and have seen a couple times - on the wrong side of the fence of course. Other than that, mainly predator and hog control.

Nice mass and I bet he is a big bodied deer! Congratulations! He was definitely a hoss. We broke our scales earlier this year so didn't get a weight unfortunately.
