Filled my buck tag this weekend

Got this buck Saturday morning. Saw him trailing does across a ridge about 600 yards away Friday right at dark. Figured he went to bed down in an oak thicket nearby. Got to the blind the next morning, and caught him slipping down the hill towards the feeder.

Saturday afternoon I went to another pasture with my hunting buddy to try and get on a buck we have been seeing on camera pretty steady. We sat on a hill and watched a decent 3 year old buck chase does back and for almost 2 hours. We could see in the binoculars that he was panting hard, but he never stopped running.

Process this deer and the doe I already shot. Ant try to get my buddy on another big buck we have on camera and have seen a couple times - on the wrong side of the fence of course. Other than that, mainly predator and hog control.

He was definitely a hoss. We broke our scales earlier this year so didn't get a weight unfortunately.

His left G2 has two stickers that you can't really see. one pointing straight forward, and one pointing straight backward. Still a shame he broke off a brow tine, and he didn't show up on camera a single time where I could possibly recreate it.
