However God chooses. Pain will be temporary, salvation will be permanent. That said, if it was up to me to choose, peacefully in my sleep after tagging the buck of my dreams lol. Almost verbatim, 'cept the last part is my 2nd choice. 1st choice is after something that rhymes with "tagging" and involves the love of my life. I've been told I'm not allowed to do that, and most vehemently, not during.

I'm not afraid to die, I just don't want to because life is a hell of a lot of fun. Speaking of which, I found out day before yesterday that my mother has stage 4 lung cancer (squamus cell). I'm old, she's old, but she's always been as much a friend as she was my momma. I remember her when she was so young and beautiful, it's like we grew up together, grew old together (though I only feel old when I look in the mirror).

I'm old, she's old, but she's always been as much a friend as she was my momma. I remember her when she was so young and beautiful, it's like we grew up together, grew old together (though I only feel old when I look in the mirror). Oh man, that's a hard hit but it's beatable. I'm 10 years out on my stage IV cancer diagnosis/treatment. Best wishes to your mom and your family.

In a gladiator pit, fighting my azz off. Last one standing wins. I want to see it coming and have a fair chance at beating it. I’m not laying down for anything. I like a fight better than anyone but death is something none of us will ever beat. It could happen tomorrow in the truck or 40 years from now laying in the bed. I thought I killed a man one night in a bar fight at the Five Point Lounge in San Angelo. I didn’t like that feeling at all. When you grab a man off the floor by the shirt to hit him again and all you see is blood and an open mouth floppy head it slows your roll. Been in two since then and that was because I had no other way out. That night took the fun out of it for me.
