If I had gone there I would be really mad. The type of people that go there are the type of people protesting. All the alumni are probably really proud now.

It will still remain to be DKR Memorial Stadium. The field itself is currently named Joe Jamail Field and will be renamed after Ricky and Earl. I have no issue with it as these two were the best 2 running backs to ever wear the burnt orange.

Blame the family of alumni booster that the field is currently named after, Joe Jamail Field as they requested the university to rename the field to more represent diversity and inclusion. Unless this was forced on them by the university, not sure I see any harm in renaming the field, not the stadium itself.

Looks like this is all working out for me. I love the song and DKR along with Earl, and Ricky was a great player.

Yep, the one nonnegotiable was the Eyes of Texas. We would of canceled our season tickets. When my son sent me the link yesterday I skimmed over everything else till I found what they were gonna do with the eyes of Texas.
