From this.... To this in about 2 hrs It's about 70 x 70. Used my 7' arena werks rotating harrow to remove all grass/weeds then broke up the ground and mixed in some fertilizer. Planted 10# mix of winter peas & oats. Hope we get a rain shower this weekend like the weather men are calling for.....

Looks good, hope you get the rain. Going to try to get one put in at the lease also next week when John & I are there. I have a 6 blade disk to pull behind my 4wheeler. We'll see how it goes...

I sprayed round up on my plot two weeks ago, disked it yesterday and plan on planting it tomorrow, before the storm hits.

Your plot cleaned up nice, good luck I planted mine yesterday. Same, now hoping for cool weather to curb the army worms down. Your plot should do real good with a little rain.

I would expect the oats to look thicker by now. May not have been enough seed. Sometimes the birds will get to it.

I would broadcast some winter wheat or pasture mix over that, with more rain coming it should take hold as long as it doesn't wash it away...

May try that...someone on another post mentioned it just may not have had enough sun as much as it’s been raining
