From this....


To this in about 2 hrs


It's about 70 x 70. Used my 7' arena werks rotating harrow to remove all grass/weeds then broke up the ground and mixed in some fertilizer. Planted 10# mix of winter peas & oats. Hope we get a rain shower this weekend like the weather men are calling for.....

Going to try to get one put in at the lease also next week when John & I are there. I have a 6 blade disk to pull behind my 4wheeler. We'll see how it goes...

I sprayed round up on my plot two weeks ago, disked it yesterday and plan on planting it tomorrow, before the storm hits.

I would expect the oats to look thicker by now. May not have been enough seed. Sometimes the birds will get to it.

I would broadcast some winter wheat or pasture mix over that, with more rain coming it should take hold as long as it doesn't wash it away...
