I found out this morning my wife and I drew out for the Balcones WMA. We're both excited to have gotten this hunt. I've hunted there before but its been 8 or 9 years ago. Anyone else get lucky?

My wife is handicapped so I know that'll play a part on what area we'll be hunting.

Got lucky today too with a Mason Mountain deer permit. I never have any hope for the 2nd draw so today was a big surprise. I'm certain I'll have a good time.

I've been putting in for years but never gotten drawn. I consider this more of a donation than anything, but one of my good friends has been drawn for Laguna Atascosa twice in the last three years!

Or keep youth with adults together? I expect they will but I didn't think of this until I was looking at the units. some of them are one permit units.

Everyone from your party that submitted their applications together should be in the same unit.
