They are a great way to make a lot of noise and turn a pile of ammo into a pile of empty brass. Other than that they are pretty useless.

Don't get it, then I am pretty stingy with my ammo.

I know someone who has a few in the Fort Worth area. They will be pretty expensive though.

For perspective, Slide Fire stocks were clearance-priced as low as $89 several months back.
There is no rocket science involved in them, I would strongly advise you to examine one before spending large amounts of cash on one.

Slidefire.com Still regular price although that is pricey. Use coupon code MAGA for 10% off for Presidents Day. Lots of fun but burns through the ammo. Put it on my 7.62 x 39 AR15 for short bursts and was wicked. Better than belt loop method because you can actually aim thru sights, at least at first till the muzzle rise gets too bad. I can hold 30 rounds of .223 on a 4x8 sheet of plywood at 100 yards, 5.56 only about half that and 7.62 x 39 only short bursts. Can be locked for normal firing.

I have a feeling we are to late to get them at he old regular prices, people are buying them up and resaling at to high prices for us. we just thought we would get a couple to have but really don't have to have them, like you all have said, there is really no use for them other then burning up to much ammo and just shooting burst. I don't think we are going to worry with them unless we stumble across a deal, which I doubt will happen.

Slidefire is still selling them on their site (at least on the days that the site is up and running). Something like $180-$300 each plus tax.
Just checked, they're showing as currently available.
For what it's worth, I got one of these last year & tried it out. It was interesting. Put me in mind of firing a SAW in my Marine Corps days. Not pinpoint accurate by any means, but you can put a huge volume of fire into a controlled area. I keep meaning to try it in clearing wild hogs at our family's property up in Sanger.

I disagree with anyone getting anywhere close to my 2nd amendment rights. But then again, bump fire stocks are really, really dumb. I could do without the unwanted negative attention they bring to the cause. They go in the same category as the Joe Bubba walking around Walmart open carrying a Springfield XD in an Uncle Mike’s Velcro holster.
