The 587 ranch is a free range 587 acre ranch. The ranch feels way bigger as it has a shared fence with a State Park for almost two miles. The State Park is over 5,000 acres. The ranch is set up with box blinds, igloo style blinds, and ladder stands.

We will be booking 3 archery hunts and 3 rifle hunts this year. Prefer 2 paying hunters per weekend. Weekday hunts welcome also. Hunts start at $750 and include a small management buck, lodging, guide fees, and food. We can skin/quarter your game if one needs help. Food will be basic (hamburgers, fajitas, taco bar, hot dogs/tater tots etc). Cabin is a basic hunting cabin with 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and big living room. Hunts are fully guided. Plenty of references if requested(or search my last threads).
Bigger management bucks will run $250-$750 more (on top of the $750)depending on size. We will be harvesting 4 to 6 standard 8 point bucks as management bucks as well as the herd needs to be thinned.
Trophy bucks will be offered but limited to 2 trophies this year.

Pictures from blind #1 Now that's a big 5 point cull.

We have way too many deer so I'm looking for a group of 3-5 hunters who want to shoot a doe and small cull buck each. This would be anytime between Dec 6 and Dec 31.

I will make a deal on price depending on how many deer the group wants to harvest. This would be a 3 day hunt with lodging. I can feed the group or they can bring their own food.

Here are a few pictures of some bucks that are still around. Found some sheds so antlers are already dropping. Bucks are tearing up the cotton seed and protein. Going to be a great 2018-2019 season!

Folks , Tim has a great place. You will see a lot of deer and he and his family have worked hard to make this a fine little ranch and hunting operation. My daughter, nephew and brother all took deer while on the ranch. Here is a pic of my 12 year old with a fine 8 point she took with crossbow.

Looks like plenty of deer for this coming season. We now feed cotton seed and antlers are already growing good.

The only changes this coming season will be the hunters will have the cabin all to themselves.

Opening day is Sept 29th Any interested archery hunters let me know. I plan to do a group hunt special opening weekend. 3 day/2 night doe/spike hunt and includes 1 hog for $350 per person. I will allow buck to be upgraded for more. Have not set prices as we need to see what we have (will know soon).
