Hell that's what I work for and towards year round. Hunting season never ends til they put you in a box. They only let me shoot deer a certain period of the year but the hunt never ends.

I learned real quick, it's never to early and it never ends. I'm constantly scouting and checking my gear all year.

I shoot every day. Might be a dozen arrows. Might be six dozen. But I'm shooting between limbs on the tree, on my knees leaning around obstacles, up close, max range . . . Always preparing. I keep a bag of hunting clothes packed for a trip to the ranch or three fingers to shoot pigs on a moments notice. Setting up new feeders, water troughs and stands. Food plots, fertilizing and corning roads. It never stops. If I didn't have to make money to be able to afford it I would just live at the ranch.

It's a year round obsession for me! The day the season ends I'm already thinking about the next one.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
