I will only shoot dove farther than 70 yards and I will do it with Monarch 7.5, 1 oz loads. Who is with me?

Can't believe I read it all from the beginning again. Cliff notes please. Do I need the 3.5 inch or not? No clear resolution yet, probably need several more pre-hunting season bumps and 20 more pages to close on a final answer for HOF. On another note, found this old picture of HOF on his first dove hunt.

I use 1 1/2 oz B-B's 3 1/2" when I dove hunt, no need to clean birds

Look for the shells on the far right if you're a beginner.  But once you feel like dove hunting is no longer challenging, then do like myself and get you a rig like below.

I prefer my custom hand loads of a 10ga 3.5" mag loaded with 2 1/8oz of #8 shot ripping at 1400fps fired from my Ithica Mag 10 30" full choke.

After a good morning dove hunt with 3.5" Black Cloud BB's I like to take my .30-06 squirrel hunting. ROFLMFAO I love it!
