Spot on. I imagine the level of zoom required to get to centre will very much depend on how off centre the scope is initially. There is a video on the Scott Country Facebook page which I took showing what my scope does with that. Apologies but I'm on my phone so can't post a link if anyone else can oblige.

jimmy the video looked great and the fact that you ID's bunnies at 200m was nice to hear. The only thing I noticed is that the screen was back to blinking.

Mine has always blinked with the light amplification set to low. On medium it's fine but slightly laggy in the frame rate. I'm now happy to take mine out on live quarry so tonight the x-sight will meet some British foxes!

The ATN firmware page now shows an "error 404" - no such page. Good sign?, or tease?

Think their server will be able to handle all of us downloading the new firmware at once?

Ok just talked to ELI in customer support. He said they never intended for it to say BETA so they removed the beta from the description. He said the .234 to his knowledge is 2 weeks out yet...so we will see....

The firmware is being tested before launch. Isn't that what most of you have asked of us?
do you want us to prematurely release it again?
Senior members only, if anyone of you is interested in becoming our "testers," please email me at sbaig@atncorp.com for more details.
Thanks!

No do not release prematurely. Thanks for asking for testers on this site I would definitely say, I am very overwhelmingly impressed with the response that I got from the members. One thing I would like to clarify. When I said "senior" members, I meant members who actively participate on this forum and have been on the forum for a while. The reason for that, as you would imagine, is so we are getting good valuable feedback.

Sachal: It should be obvious that there are numerous people on this very forum who WANT this device to live up to its full potential, and are willing and able to help with testing it in real world conditions to help make that happen for the benefit of all. For example, I will be taking mine out hunting tomorrow night to compare the IR module I just received today for my SniperHawgLight 66LR to the UNV20IR I have been using. Tom

Sachal, This has nothing to do with firmware, Do you know when ATN will be releasing the sunshade for purchase? I made one out of cardboard and tape and it has made the color much nicer on the viewfinder. It also seemed to help my NV for some reason. Just looks goofy. But it works.

Eric, The sunshades for the 5-18x are being shipped to us shortly. Once here, any customer looking for one would get it for free. We just ask that you contact us if you need one.
