Really glad I returned my X-sight and got a refund. Very unfortunate that they still haven' figured some of this stuff out.

These back and forths are NOT contributing to anything but CHILDISH games. It sure isn't fixing any problems with the scope and I AM GETTING TIRED OF READING THE BULLSHIRTS. +1

So who didn't know they were getting a less than polished unit when they ordered?
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

I was told when I bought mine that everything was working and dialed in. So I was not aware I was buying a work of art in progress..

I was told when I bought mine that everything was working and dialed in. So I was not aware I was buying a work of art in progress.. Anyone who thought it was going to be smooth sailing and working perfect upon release, just doesn't understand technology rollouts. However, I don't think anyone was prepared for how rocky the rollout has been, or how badly they botched it. They were simply not ready to bring the thing to market when they started selling it. Now that it is out, they are scrambling to catch up. Essentially - they should have waited a year to bring it to market. Buuuuut they didn't, so here we are. Doing what we gotta do.

Well Moshooter, I bought mine before all the reviews hit the fan, Otherwise I would not have bought it. Smooth sailing is expected if a large company like ATN rolls out a optic that guides a deadly projectile thru the air. Perhaps I was naive thinking that there would be a professional roll out. But the fact is, it wasn't. I'm sure it works fine for most, I don't trust mine to hunt with it because every time I take mine out it dosnt hit the same spot. Its close but not at all like my Burris. I hunt Hogs and I only do head shots and they average of about 75 yards. If I cant consistently hit the ears I don't bother with the scope. At this point when I zoom in a tad it is not consistent enough for me. Just my humble opinion. But the point I am trying to make is when I bought mine all this info was not out on the net as it is now.

I think that's the point I've been trying to make. A lot of people have approached the X-Sight rollout with the same mindset they approach regular optical scopes. It should work, fit & finish should be tight, repeatable, and all around squared away the first run. Those people seem to be the ones disappointed the most.
Those that approached this with the mindset that it is a Computer, with software, have found most of the issues to be pretty normal for computer rollouts.
None of this is to belittle the fact that your POI seems to shift. That's obviously something that can't be tolerated on a firearm.
If you've followed the guides to check your mounting, and have found that it is secure, then it's almost certainly not a software problem At that point, it would seem your scope is just plain broke - and you should either RMA or return it. That's not just a glitch...that's the scope not performing it's primary designed function. I wouldn't tolerate it, nor should you.
I wish you all the best in getting it resolved.

Like most I am disappointed with mine.
I am sitting in a field right now trying to get it to focus well enough to see 100 yards. I have been tried every setting adjustment I can find and my arms are tired from holding this brick up.
The focus ring is so tight I can barley turn it and who every designed this must have been left handed. Your hand blocks the IR when trying to focus the unit.
I had a ATN 410 that worked better than the X site and was cheaper.
Disappointed like the rest of the crowd.

And the beat goes on... I feel sorry for Scott Country who appear to be the only ones making any real effort! Dear Mr I am sorry we have not been able to supply you a firmware update, however this is something entirely out of our control. I have been assured I will have the test version of this update to test myself today, and we can then distribute to customers. If you are not happy to wait until we have done this, please return the X Sight immediately and we will replace this. I can assure you NO ONE in the industry is working harder than we do to resolve this issue, we even have an email this week from ATN Distributor on the other side of the planet, asking us for help as they cannot help their customers with the issue. I am sorry what we are doing is not fast enough, we are 100% committed to resolving the firmware and have done all we can to champion the cause for it to be done as quickly as it can. We were told the week beginning the 22nd Feb which is what we told everyone buying X Sight at the British Shooting Show, and that is the date we are still aiming for. If it does not arrive today, it is outside our control i am afraid, and if you are not prepared to wait, please return the unit for a refund.
Regards Scott Country Sales Team

So who didn't know they were getting a less than polished unit when they ordered? I ordered my unit in February, I had read a lot of the reviews and talked to the ATN folks at the Shot Show before I decided to order my unit. I knew what I was getting into when I ordered my 5-18x. I also ordered it from Cabelas which I knew would take it back if it didn't function well enough for me while I waited for software updates. So I think my expectations were lower than many other who pre-ordered their scopes.

Why are US gun dealers who are supplying this product not raising the roof? Surely they must be piled under with complaints? Don't understand big concerns like Cabelas are not doing more....

Who says the gun dealer's are not complaining? What do you expect the retailers to do they're not, become SW developers? The ATN thread prior to December was everyone bitching and complaining about ATN not releasing the scope, "how could they miss their date?" "Release it, release it" everyone chanted! Now the ATN thread is everyone bitching and complaining about what was released. There are threads now being created to complain and whine outside of the main complain and whine thread. If you haven't bought one, don't buy it and wait. If you did buy it and can't wait, send it back. If the retailer you purchased from won't allow the return, call your Credit Card issuer, they will motivate them to do so via a chargeback. I'm fine waiting, I believe it will get fixed and my life is none the worse waiting for that fix. A fish finding scope will be badass. Does anyone really believe ATN will come on this board and provide any kind of useful information given the reception any kind of a post would receive? I'm sure they recognize the issues and are not delaying a fix just to personally piss off each of you. Let the carrying on, carry on now... Charlie

I have my fingers crossed for you guys. I was in the market for a scope in Jan and started researching the Photon and the XSight.
I work in IT and Research/Development so at times I kinda wish I chose the Xsight so I could tinker and troubleshoot with you guys.
I really think it will turn positive at some point in time, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Why does all my emails from ATN go into the junk box? how do I fix that? Ha, what emails? They claim to send them but for the life of me I cant seem to find them. Only time I get a response from them is via phone or chat (which seems to be cookie cutter) On the good side , with the 200 firmware the scope is usable and I'm able to use it with the features I want. As to the issues of the scope holding zero that have been popping up, I don't have that problem with this one. Maybe the problem lies with loose screws or even the shooters abilities, cant say for other scopes but I know with 3 on hand and 6 others that Ive set up they don't have zero issues either. Hopefully the miracle full fix update will come eventually.
