My wife said "in no uncertain words" - "I don't care if it is a Jeep 4 X 4, you are not putting a deer in it"

Nuff said! I know when to leave things alone!

She was raised in Lousiana and Georgia and can get a bit testy when she puts her mind to it. (But boy can she cook....)

yep, carried a death tarp in a company car that made a ton of trips to the lease, not the coolest lease rig being in a 4 door sedan, but free gas will make ya figure out how to hunt outta a car in a hurry, stuffed alot of deer in a tarp in the trunk, they woulda fired me if they knew what i did to their co vehicles! lol

Did the same thing one time in my wifes old Dodge Neon when it was less than a year old. She knew about it, my wife's pretty cool.

That's awesome! I'm definitely going to use that when the need arises.

Went out some family friends' lease out west of San Angelo when I was around 9-10 yrs. old just to piddle around and sight in some guns. One of them ended up shooting a decent buck and we rode home with it in the trunk of his wife's brand new 1974 Lincoln Mark IV-no tarp, trunk was saturated with blood and they even got blood on the white carpet and white leather seats. I ain't never seen a little bitty blonde lady that mad in all my life and hopefully, never will again.

I would invest on building or buying a game carrier for the receiver hitch to eliminate future castration by the mrs.!

If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

That's greatness ACov! You and I think just alike! I stuffed one in the back of my tiny CRV, however my "death tarp" is a cheap shower curtain. My story is a bit different in the fact that it was my hubby who got upset that I stuffed a dead animal in the back of the brand new CRV he bought for me smile Well...he shoulda bought me a truck right!

If I put in the back of my wife's Lexus's SUV I would have to stop by the dealership after asking the deer out.

Love the picture above from the drivers seat of the crv!

Oh man, this is a good thread. I hauled a doe in my old camaro back in high school one weekend when the truck went down. Never did get the smell outa it. Bleh. However, a 2 year old west tx doe fit PERFECT in the little trunk under the hatch of a 96 z28. hahahahahaha, wish I had pics of it!
