Instead of thumb knob could you use an allen head set screw in place of the one knob in the way and have the clearance for your bolt just an idea.By the way just ordered one myself cant wait!!!

That would be perfect for teaching kids about shot placement. You could point to the screen and show the kids exactly where to put the cross hair. Great idea. I've got to get one.
If you keep your hair short and your mouth shut, things tend to run a lot smoother.

I have constructed about 5 different setups to attach my digital camera, iphone, old iphone, and a few other cameras to rifles using constructed mounts, modified mounts, and all kinds of other stuff. The recoil presents a real problem. There's not much you can do about it. The best set up I have seen is with the iScope on a spotting scope/binoculars and tripod or shooting sticks. It works much better when filming because it is virtually impossible to get a good kill shot on camera when the camera is attached to the gun. Cool product, but makes more sense to use your scope properly and set up a spotting scope for recording the hunt.

I've seen these and my question is it hard to keep the gun steady when your not fully addressing the rifle. It would seem that the rifle would be unstable, or do you still put it into your shoulder? I held my phone up to where my scope would be and I have to lean back just to see the screen which would put the rifle away from my body/anchor point. I see you made a great shot but was just wondering. BTW very nice deer and beverage at the beginning of the video.

I was wondering the same thing it looks like you cant rest it against your shoulder so where do you put the butt of your gun when your doing this?

I see you made a great shot but was just wondering. BTW very nice deer and beverage at the beginning of the video. My rifle scope is in a good position for me, I can press the stock firmly against my shoulder and I'm still able to see the screen. I don't have to lean down at all like I would if I put my eye close to the scope, I just sit up straight and watch the screen. It's not uncomfortable for me. I normally watch the screen a while without the gun on my shoulder then when it's time to shoot, I put it on my shoulder, line up and shoot. If your scope sits further back on your rifle, you'll have to lean back I'm sure. I'm solving that problem as we speak with my LAR-8 .308 setup. It's hard to find a happy medium with an AR platform. Too far forward and you have trouble shooting it without the iScope. Too far back and you have trouble shooting with the iScope.

Nice! What brand is the Camo overalls you are wearing in the video? Looking for a good lightweight pair for spring Turkey.

Haha I'd have to check. Most of my camo is old school hand-me-downs!
