my guess is that your gap between the spinner and cone is to big and at some point during a feed cycle it didnt clot back up and your corn all poured out at once. i know from exsperiance. lol

hogs are hacking into the feeder controls now. Same thing happened to one of our guys.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Yeah that sucks. That has happend to me before also and emptied out an entire feeder.

I've seen this happen once to a daylight to dawn timer think it was the lightning storm though

Agree, with too big a gap, a heavy wind will drain a feeder in a day or two.

After you fix the feeder and fill it back up, shovel the bad corn into the new bags and duct tape them shut. Then you can use the "bad" corn to bait hogs when and where you want.
I promise the hogs won't know it's bad.
Been there, done that.

I would certainly figure out what actually happened and not just assume it was a weak battery. That seems like a lot of spining for a weak battery. Not sure what kind of spinner you have on there but I have had a strong wind spin my spinner plate and empty a feeder more than once. For those that think Im crazy, I have driven up twice to see it happening. We have had to put wind blocks on our feeders for this very same thing.
