I have to agree with most. For a pump Browning BPS is the way to go or save your money for a Benelli auto.

Nova = 3 in. Super Nova = 3 and 3.5 inch capacity

I'd find me a used Ithica or the BPS.

back when we used to eat housecats we marinated them in louisiana hot sauce and soy sauce then season them with lemon pepper........then onto the grill slow cooking them 3 hours........excellent folded in tortillas and pico de gallo----Newgulf

You're right! I stand corrected.

Best gun in the $500-700 range is the Beretta 390 series (390, 391, 3901)

Semi-auto 3" receiver.

It's arguably better than a lot of $700-1200 guns.

Agreed. I picked up an Xtrema at the end of last season and it shoots great...

X3. You can't go wrong with a beretta. I have never seen one malfunction in the field, I can't say that for Benelli.

Maybe I'm just an idiot but have any of you ever tried to take apart completely your bps. I did and getting those two rails to line up was a royal pain! I'm just saying that if I actually used my bps other than just a backup gun for guiding I would send it to the gunsmith to clean it. Btw I have one for sale, synthetic, black 3 1/2. $250 firm

that's pretty cool of you Randall, and $250 is a good deal on that gun if it is in good shape.

+1, I love shooting my 391 for doves. I used it for duck hunting too before I bought my Vinci.
