Sounds cool. Some people are sure getting fired up about nothing. Maybe you can let them come and kill a hog with on of the axes they have been grinding throughout this thread

I agree with Ryan. I have a lease with a hog problem but I am pretty sure that the lease manager wont let dogs on there because of the sectional nature of our lease. Once the dogs start after a hog, you cant control where they go. If someone has a hog problem and you can help, it don't make a sh!t want you make in money to get rid of them. It didn't cost the land owner or lease holder a dime, in fact it saves him money on corn and damage to the property. Keep doin what you do. As stated, someone on here will always have something negative to say about something they can't do for themselves or if anyone thinks you might make a little money doing it. Everyone on here has a job that someone else pays for them to do otherwise we would all be broke and not able to afford to hunt at all.

Hope they do better than the pigman. He talks a lot about how many hogs and great dogs but not enough get caught/shot to make a difference.

haha thats funny actually pigman has actually been in contact with us to help him run next time he does the Marranos Muertos contest for Los Cazadores. A lot of talk we will see what happens though. but in all honesty it is hard for any dog to run in different climates. even an east texas dog going to west texas has trouble. The good thing about west texas dogs is although it is still different it is a drier climate than just about anywhere else you can run so it just gets easier from there.

had a good morning this mooring out near albany dogs aren't even closet to tired this cold moist wind is some of the best weather to ever run dogs in. that air holds scent really well as does all the vegetation. Hogs weren't all huddled up hiding having to move and feed and the dogs were doing great catching catching scents and cutting trails. Might head towards temple but would rather not have to go all that way. PM me in the next few hours if you are interested dogs are warmed up and ready to rock.

but the thing i am trying ever so hard to tell you is I DONT HAUL THE PIGS. and 5 hogs at 150 pound is about 260 dollars and not worth how much harder it is to hobble them and then wrestle them up into a transport and drive them. Only time I do that is when ranchers specifically ask for that either because they don't want them killed there or want some money Dont know where you've been selling them but it sounds like you're getting srcewed. Bob Richardson in Swenson pays 40cents a pound plus a head bonus (price per LB goes up, bigger the better) But hey continue on with the community service and "management" program.

IS THIS JUST GOING TO KEEP GOING AND GOING? If i have done anything to offend you I am sorry that is not at all my intentions. If i haven't then I guess I'm just a little bit confused. Other forums that I am apart of besides people joking with one another this doesn't really happen. I would really like to make this a legitimate thread but at this point its almost just not even worth it. don't even know if its salvageable anyways...

I have been Shooting pigs a long time with My bow and rifle but I feel bad to see a hog ran down with 10 dog's. The Hog is already scared sh!tless and out of breath and cornered with dog's biting the cr@p out of it ! barking,People Yelling then Tieing it up with rope and sticking and cutting it with some big Bowie knife. Im just saying I don't have the heart for it.

The ones that are scared just run most of the time and the mean ones try and make a last stance rancher called about 1030 last night said there was a big one out by his grain storage. we told him we would come by in a little bit. Got there but the dogs down he was long gone. started bringing the dogs a little bit further up and they caught a sent 850 yards later we had this guy. WE do not tie them up just a quick stab that kills them almost instantly (a HELL of a lot faster than any hog i have ever shot with a bow) Rancher wasnt kidding it was a nice boar

I try to watch videos about hog doggin. They stab the hogs. They start squealing. they sit on them because they are still trying to run. Blood is gushing out and foaming. Never seen a dead hog squeal so loud and move like these did. They don't die right a way. Watched 8 hunts. All ended the same way.One shot one kill.

as far as the above comment I am not sure we never have to shoot our hogs after stabbing i guess its just about knife choice and placement. In fact we dont carry guns and after last night my buddys might change there mind. I was not able to go but the dogs actually got on lion scent. Bayed it up 3 times kept breaking they covered 10 miles on this thing. SOUNDED LIKE ONE HELL OF A STORY!

Wouldnt bother me a bit if you were making 5k a day selling them. When a land owner needs the help and you offer it at no cost to them, I think you are doing a good deed. Props to ys.
