If you have skinned deer from the basket ball goal in your drive way

If you leave a gallon bucket in your blind to pee in, and also a large bottle of water next to it to rinse that pee jug out after the hunt

For my duration at a&m our house was the place where frinds gathered to eat. We filled the kitchen, living room and alot of times the front porch with an extra table about once a week with good down home cookin most of which was shot or caught for little or nothing, the ladies never minded as long as we kept the heads out of the house before they came over... Its how I met my fiance grin

If the only clothes you've purchased in the last 10 years are hunting clothes.

If your wife has to take birth control between January and April each year. My daughter was born in September- not a coincidence.

If you've ever gone shopping for a new laptop to view game cam pics-with a deer carcass in the bed of your truck. (Did it Sunday night).

My wife spent 3 days opening weekend, 9 at thanksgiving, 2 more early december, and 5 more before Christmas at the lease. I got 4 more in before the end of the year. We also hunted once in south texas. I think she spent more time at camp than anyone but me this year.

I named my son Brady because that's where I killed my first 2 deer when I was 12 in 1968...he has always said he was glad I wasn't hunting in San Saba or Llano.
