I have zero interest in playing electronic games while in the stand. I go to hunt and observe. But to be perfectly honest, I also have no interest in electronic games when I'm NOT hunting either.

I don't play games on a regular basis on a regular day. Never have, and never will.
Why would I do that when I am trying to get away from the hustle and bustle and stress and pressure and do this and do thats?

Same here. Sometimes I try to check the weather or a Solunar table. Course the last 2 take about 10 min. to download.

Might text or check out THF or WeatherBug but no games. I've never had any interest in the games but have them on my phone for the grandsons to play with.

Mines with me for emergencies but if I'm bored in the blind I take a book with me always.

I take my Iphone in case of an emergency...BUT I also have a game call app on it..It plays any animal u can imagine, and has various deer calls on it...I dont use it this year though because its not very loud...Went back to my trusty ole Primo...

I basically have a "dumb" phone used for durability at work more than anything (was tested in Iraq by the troops) It does have a few features I like, Rubber armor grip

I dont typically play video games, but I tend to play a few in the stand. My wife bought me a nintendo DS and this is one of the only times of year I use it. So I will play a few on the nintendo, read the news on the phone, maybe text a few, read a book, take a nap, and i just look out and enjoy the wilderness a lot. Thats the best pastime right there.

I had my son with me last weekend and he plays angry birds and deer hunter.

So he is playing deer hunting and he gets excited when he gets two deer in a hunt. He asks why don't they have a feeder on there, it is hard to hit them running. Almost funniest thing said on opening weekend. I texted it to the other guys and they got a kick out of it.

I usually text with a buddy in another stand about what we have seen and the deer movement. Even do that when he is hunting a different lease. Occasionally I will check on here or play a game if it is really slow. My 6 year old likes to play when we are hunting a blind in the evening. Deer don't tend to move around that place till the last 30-40 minutes of shooting light.
