Nope it is real and the buck scored in the mid 160's as a 7 point with 40" of mass. G2's were both over 16". I know the uncle of the guy who killed this buck. So that would make it a cull buck, right? Yep the ranch owner culled him from the herd. That is not ranch owner in the pic by the way. He is behind the camera. OK i went to the source of my email, which I might add is a ranking brass LEO, he said that the pic origin was a TPWD biologists friend and it was in fact the real deal. No Internet

The only reason I would question if it was photoshopped is because I would think the guy in the picture would need a better grip on that main beam to hold that sucker up. no way he can hold the deers head and rack up with ony 3 fingers He can if the deer was killed the day before and posed in a walkin cooler. That is exactly what I was thinking!

Uvalde may be worm place to hunt, but I still would not pick this kind of camo shirt. Or was this the property owner posing?? Now, the notion that deer spent a night in the cooler and than arrived all stiff at the photo shoot is downright stupid!

how is that photoshopped?
the deer was probably put in a walk in cooler tied with it's head in the upright position overnight. They will be stiff as a board the next day. we do it all the time.... I honestly didn't know that. Learn something new every day! Helluva buck

Now, the notion that deer spent a night in the cooler and than arrived all stiff at the photo shoot is downright stupid! Um, I have taken many pictures doing exactly that...so why is it stupid again?
