The only reason I would question if it was photoshopped is because I would think the guy in the picture would need a better grip on that main beam to hold that sucker up.

Nope it is real and the buck scored in the mid 160's as a 7 point with 40" of mass. G2's were both over 16". I know the uncle of the guy who killed this buck.

Yep the ranch owner culled him from the herd.
That is not ranch owner in the pic by the way. He is behind the camera.

Well if the camera is focused on the deer then they would be blurry and out of focus.

the deer was probably put in a walk in cooler tied with it's head in the upright position overnight. They will be stiff as a board the next day. we do it all the time....

Re: Nice buck (high rack) - 11/10/11 04:31 AM
Uvalde may be worm place to hunt, but I still would not pick this kind of camo shirt.
Or was this the property owner posing??
Now, the notion that deer spent a night in the cooler and than arrived all stiff at the photo shoot is downright stupid!

I love the curve off the tip of the main beam. That is awesome. I think it's legit. Now weather or not it is LF or HF, I don't really care.
Heck of a deer regardless.

I am going to say low fence. Because if it was high fence that deer would have been killed before he ever got to be that big of a cull, because ITS SO EASY TO KILL HIGH FENCE DEER!!!!
Sarcasm implied...
