I hate all of the reenactments! Love the bowhunting shows, whitetail, mulies, doesn't really matter as long as its with a bow.

Funny how every deer I have ever shot and walked up on had it's tongue hanging out yet TV deer seem to know they are supposed to die with their tongues in their mouth because when they walk up on them that's "how they find them". I also hate it when a show has the hunter trailing and finding the dead deer with the camera man standing over the deer as they find it! I mean, the hunter should say "Look! there the deer is, he's right by my cameraman!" And yes, film the hunt and do voice over afterward....whispering = fingernails on a chalkboard! I guess some TV hunters just like to hear themselves talk, I mean whisper.

Yeah, they just cranked off a .50 and feel the need to whisper.

a couple fat guys stumbling around a small cabin at 5AM looking for their flashlights, a feeder that goes off a few minutes behind the hunter's watch, a cow trying to get the grain running the deer off at sunrise, hunter taking a nap in his stand when a deer walks by and snorts at him, a fat guy eating a sausage wrap with mustard on his shirt, a couple kids throwing rocks at the side of the cabin, an old wooden deer stand instead of brand new ultra light fiber carbons on stainless steel diamond plated stilts, LESS CHIT CHAT ABOUT THE RANCH AND PRODUCTS!

I want to see normal people hunting land the average guy could afford to hunt. Show some public land hunting. Like stated have them in a deer camp not some 5000 sqft lodge. I want see folks hunt not just deer but for other game. Rabbits, coons, crows, hogs, turkeys and everything in between. Use some rimfires and some small shotguns. Anyone can kill game on a 40,000 acre private ranch. Show me a small farm in east Texas or some public land hunting in west Texas. I want to see a average hunter using a average rifle on some average land pure and simple.

I want information......information like... What kind of fallen tree works best for a toilet? What leaves are the most dense for wiping? Should you giggle at your own bowel growel while hunting alone? Do you tell your buddy that you accidently cut the bladder while gutting his deer and it got all over the meat? How to sneak in at night and make a huge scrape right next to you buddy's blind. Where to dump your pee? .....you know....all the important everyday hunting things we all encounter.....
Think you can/Think you can't/Either way you're right

Great promo video. I agree with all... more hunting and less infomercials. I know that is how you pay the bills but too much and no one will buy the DVD's and you won't be paying the bills anyway. Stand up to the sponsors and tell them they can have the end of the DVD.

you got me, I would think with the limited manpower and volunteer requests alone just to help with the water sources...very little makes it there.

Thats a great question. I personally like to see bow hunting for large game. I also like to see the people have some personality. I think thats why the Real Tree guys are so popular. I want to have my own hunting show one day. I play professional baseball so I am bit busy at this time in my life, but once I am done playing I would like to get into that field. I have some buddies with the Buck Commanders. If you ever need a pro baseball player who loves to hunt and has a good personallity, let me know...lol. Best of luck with your career. Let me know if you ever need anything.
