It's really obvious to me that the people that say they would rather kill the dogs because they are dangerous animals, have never been hog hunting with dogs. I have been hog hunting with dogs multiple times and it is laughable that you think hog dogs are dangerous to humans. When well trained like most hog dogs are, they are no danger at all to a human and kids can pet them with no problem. Yes I have been attacked by a dog have the scars to prove it!! Yes it was a pit bull!! Do I hate pit bulls no!! Do I hate the man who owned that pit bull no we are still friends!! Do I hate the pit bull who attacked me yes!! The dog caught me in the knee the man pulled him off and the dog jerked out of his hand and caught me again!!The man put the dog down right there!! Do I trust pit bull yes and no!! I have studied pits since it has happened and I can point at one and tell you if he has it in him to attack or turn!! It is not hunters who breed those kind of dogs it is THUGS that breed them that way!!

My lab was mauled by 3 pit pups lastnight while walking around the neighborhood. Mauled by licks and kisses lol. One was even walking my lab with the leash.

Very well said cward. According to the link attached, the US has about 80 crimes committed per 1,000 people. Of course, single criminals commit multiple crimes. But based on a conservative estimate, there could be (statistically speaking) about 1,600 criminals that are members of this forum. 80 crimes/1,000 x 21,000 members. A sad fact but you can also assume there will be dog haters, cat haters, hog haters, fish haters, hunter haters, archery haters, AR-15 haters, cop haters, criminal haters, and on and on and on. You might even find the rare but offensive thread hijacker on occasion. Y'all keep up the good work! Outdoor sports need solid spokespersons! Crimes per Capita
