I would rather have two regular carts!

We just got a Polaris ranger this year before season I think they are great never had a minutes trouble out of it it's fuel injected and 4X4 goes any where through water and up hills. I wouuld buy a gas or disel over any battery product if your using it in the field. JMO

The small company I work for has a Artic Cat Prowler and it is a piece of junk. The thing rattles apart when driving through the field. Nothing major has gone bad but we have had to tighten the bolts in the bed and rack over the top of the machine numerous times. With that rattling apart it just seems like the rest can't be too far behind. It runs fast though.

I bought a 4 wheeler off that very site for my son..110cc. I bought it last year in Feb and it has been through the ringers at the deer lease, around the neighborhood. It also is the BMX brand, all I have done to it is put gas in it. I paid 535 and it was shipped to my front door. Cant beat that in my opinion. Hell, some of the electric 4 wheelers are close to $400

Has anyone ever seen or tried the HuntVe carts from Metro Cart in Fort Worth? I would assume they would have the same issues/benefits as the Bad Boy Buggy. Here is their website...

Had to join just to comment on bbb they are great. Quiet, will actually climb a wall. Battery life is 8-10 hrs. had mine 3 yrs. still on same batteries. auto fill system for batteries is wonderful but you have to use it. It's not for heavy hauling but for silent hunting. 15 mph for 20 miles, not a problem. Water, whats that I use mine in West Texas.

I have an Arctic Cat Prowler and it rides like a Caddie. They have adjustable suspension, so if it rides rough, adjust them down...all you need is a jack to adjust them.

I was welding on a ranch in Big Wells and they had a new Bad Boy delivered to the ranch. When it was delivered the guy went to telling the ranch forman how great it was. I asked how it would perform battery wise, and he said almost a day. I knew this was BS. I asked him how the landowner would feel when he got stranded in the back of the ranch and had to walk back to the headquarters. He assured me that would not happen. Well it did and several times too. They also had all the problems mentioned above also.

The landowner traded it off less than 6 months for a polaris, and has had no problems at all.

It is what it is, a glorified golf cart.

Buddy just built a 2 wheel club cart thats all jacked up. We road it around all day in Mason and never had one issue. Drove up on several deer also.

My 4x4 Kawasaki Mule cost about $6500.00 new and it's quite.

$9500 for a glorified golf cart!

I could take that money buy an old CJ and have enough left over for some cool mods!

I agree they are P.O.S.'S The owner of the ranch I guide on bought one and the only thing it is good for is driving back and forth to the targets when we are sighting in rifles.

I took that POS to the back end of 4,000acres only to have it DIE and leave me stranded miles from camp in a freezing rain.

I am not venting I am just giving my honest opinion...THEY SUCK!!! OVER PRICED GOLF CART!, CONSUMER MARKETING SCAM! ....which ever way you put it..

Bass Pro is selling some here with lights, turn signals, etc. If you buy one you can write off $9000 in state and federal taxes so the story goes. They even have them hooked up to boat trailers, etc. so they look like they'll do it all. At the end of the day it's a pimped out golf cart. No thanks.

Have to give my two cents here. I've had a BBB for three years and use it extensively. I think you have to have the right expectations when you go the electric route as it does have limitations, but it also has a lot of positives in my view.

Battery life isn't what I expected or want, but as long as I keep it charged (and the batteries filled!) it does fine. I use it to hunt and do work around the ranch, including hauling a few hundred pounds of corn at a time - more than that I have to take the truck. That will decrease battery life pretty dramatically so don't go out on a partial charge doing that kind of work. If you don't check and keep your batteries filled you will have big issues. Also keep the right air pressure in your tires - low tires will add drag and cause more drain on the batteries.

Part of our property is fairly flat - get much more out of the charge there. The other part is very hilly, it uses more charge but still am ok as long as I know the charge level beforehand. Problem is the hilly part is the furthest part of the property so I have to keep my eye on the level once it starts getting low.

Four wheel drive works great through mud and creek beds - just don't go over the floorboards which is what they tell you anyway. Takes steep hills without a problem.

It always works when I go out - my gas powered vehicles sometimes have issues.

It is QUIET. I drive up on deer and hogs ALL THE TIME!

I have atv's out at the property, and I end up using the BBB most of the time. There are more options out there now than when I bought mine, I am going to check them out and one day will get one that does better on battery life. But overall I am a fan of the BBB.

If you want to go out all day, go through deeper water, carry more load, etc., the BBB (or electric in general) is probably not for you.
