305 yards (stepped off) head shot on a doe with a 220 Swift. She was in a big oat field and I used a 50 pound sack of feed for a rest on the hood of my truck. Longest attempted shot was 1500 yards (est - too far for the range finder to work) on a yote with a 7 mag. I had it perfectly on line but the round hit about 7 or 8 feet short.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

300yds. 30.06. I believe it was 165 gr. I am not yet confident in my shooting to take a longer shot than that.

227 yards on a sika deer. I really have never been in a situation yet where i've had to shoot far.
Thought he was a bit farther than he was, dropped him with a high spine shot with a .22-250
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

175 and 225 pig. Free hand with a group of pigs running straight away from us. Killed the first one, jacked another shell, and killed the second one. I dont know how since they were running straight away, but it happened. Free hand with a .270. Also, at the exact same time, my friend did the exact same thing, but at 150 and 200 yards. The 4 pigs averaged around 175, and all 4 were taken with a .270. We were 11/12 that night spotlighting.

The furthest for me so far is using an open sight Marlin 308 at about 120 yds on a Texas Dall. Dropped the ram first shot. Not my limit by any means, but just the farthest opportunity I've had.
There's some pansies out there that would only take that with a 15 power scope!

Furthest kill shot was at just over 375 on a cull buck last year using my 4 wheeler as a rest with my weatherby 270 with a 4-12X40 scope that i keep on 10X, deer dropped right where he was hit. But my furthest shot was on a metal turkey at 853 yeards with about 15 mph winds with my .308 Rem 700 with my straight 10X leuapold M4, what a wind adjustment that was lol sniper school payed off!

Rock squirrel at 435. 20 inch heavy barrel remington 308. Climbed on a rock behind the target I was just shooting at. In the field got two hogs at 335 with the same rifle.

trotting coyote, 165, Sig 9mm.... with witnesses thank goodness... How in the world did you do that? We were on the tactical team for the narco task force back then, and shooting competitively, and shooting nearly every day. We had been going farther and farther back, and had been really successful at 100 yards on steel. The rest was lots of luck, but it was a safe environment, wide open, and rested on the hood of my truck. Thankfully I had redneckmesiah and another friend in the truck watching, or they never would have believed it. I have hit a couple at 400+ with a rifle, but to me this was a better feat. That Sig has taken hogs, coyotes, and even one deer, as well as saved my butt twice. It's treated with reverance around our house. I have bought two to replace it, but can't put it down. The nice pretty new ones stay in the safe.

The beauty of the Second Ammendment is it won't be needed until they try and take it.

360 paces extreme downhill shot using a tree to brace against. 25-06 Rem700 117gr Federal Premium 8pt buck. Biggest I had ever seen at the time. Missed over the top first shot. 2nd shot direct hit in heart. One more for good measure, in the spine as he was stumbling straight away from me. DRT.

I'm gonna get blasted for this......
It was easily 11 yrs ago was hog hunting near Sweetwater bored. Saw a Buzzard gliding wayyy up in the air. My guess 400 plus yards,..My hunting buddy I was with says I bet you couldn't shoot that buzzard.
I had a Rem 7mm mag and I led him about 8 inches and hit him, he spiraled down. He went down so far away we couldn't find him. We hiked at least 2 miles looking for him Afterwards, then the what if's started in....What if I missed, where would the bullet go? Even though we were in the middle of nowhere. Plus the fine for the shooting of the bird.
Still feel bad to this day. It ruined my whole hunt. I don't share this story but I have a witness who can put me in jail.

In October of 2004 I took down a 200lb. wild pig on the run at 71 yards with a Martin Long bow as she flushed from a plum thicket. Shot placement.....right behing the shoulder...1 lung and heart.

Shane even if you hit him, it did very little to slow down that 7mag bullet
