 Citronella candles in the deer blind?

Do they work as well as Thermacell?

I had a termacell with me for the first time this year and got busted by two does sniffing the air. Don't know if it was the thermacell but it does put out a little oder. Have not used it sense. I think the citronella candles would put out a lot more oder.
 You can't fix stupid but you can numb it with a 2x4

They make a thermacell thing that puts out a dirt odor so it doesn't spook the deer.

unscented deat. Thermocell may work if you have no wind but how often does that happen. I tried thermocell and skipped the off and got ate up for my efforts. Tree stand with about 5 mph of wind. If the wind is right for you unscented deet like 40% is great. If the wind is wrong it won't matter anyway.IMHO
