7am and 5pm

We do 7 and 4 for 3 seconds. We don't change the times on ours for DST.

A couple of guys have added remotes to their feeders this year so they just push a button from their stand and it throws. We tested on on Saturday in the middle of the day and within seconds of it throwing, 2 does came running toward it.

Once time changes, our feeders will go off at 7am and 4pm.

Anything later than 4 IMO would promote deer to feed to late

7:15 is Good, but usually where we are you can see at 7 so IMO why wait.

We like 4 because that is about an hour and a half to to hours before sundown, and we want the bucks to move on our time, when we can see them! If you have doe showing up at the feeder at 4, the bucks will come in during the rut, and before and after because they want to get a piece of the corn action

7am - 4 pm

7am and 4:30pm for 6 sec each, and 12:00 pm for 2 sec just because

7am - 4pm - 6:30p

Typically, the additional feed in the morning doesn't keep the deer around. It starts getting too warm and too bright. Just the momma does with the fawns and yearlings hang around...sometimes all day.

In the evening, the does start coming in around 5:30 even though the feeder went off at 4pm. At 20 seconds, all the corn is gone by 6:15-6:30, so I have it spin again. That way, the does hang out longer and the just might bring that older buck in as it is getting dark. He just might hear the feeder going off at 6:30p. He's still snoozing at the 4pm feeding.

Near Sonora, we throw 6:45 and 4:45. In the past, 6:45a.m. is still a little too dark to see what's hitting it but a lot of the bucks tend to hit the trails by 7:15 so this keeps them around. 4:45 is probably a little early but never had issues with the corn running out. i like having the does come in by 5 because it calms the area, makes it seem like everything is ok by 5:45 when the bucks roll in and push em out.
